Clinical Background

I qualified with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation in 2005 before completing my Physiotherapy degree in 2008. I then spent the next nine years working in private practice in London, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while specialising in the rehabilitation of higher-level amateur athletes. During this time, I also worked pitch-side at rugby matches, supporting players through acute injuries and helping them return safely to sport.

Pilates and Women’s Health

Alongside traditional physiotherapy, I trained as a Pilates instructor and delivered small-group clinical Pilates classes, combining movement-based rehabilitation with hands-on physiotherapy to support long-term recovery and injury prevention.

I later set up and ran my own business supporting women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and return to exercise. Helping women rebuild strength, confidence, and function after birth became a hugely rewarding part of my career.

NHS Experience

Following the birth of our second child, my family and I relocated to Sussex and completely fell in love with the Downs and the sea. It was here that I began my NHS career, which has been an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience. I now spend most of my time working within musculoskeletal outpatient services, alongside roles in A&E and the Virtual Fracture Clinic.

Perimenopause and Menopause

In recent years, my clinical interests have increasingly focused on perimenopause and menopause, particularly the powerful role exercise and rehabilitation can play in improving the wide range of symptoms women experience during this stage of life.

Approach

I remain deeply passionate about rehabilitation, movement, and evidence-based physiotherapy, and I cannot wait to begin this exciting new chapter at Four*.
